William C. Bill Colitzas, 37, of Doniphan, Nebraska, died unexpectedly, Monday, April, 11, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center. Services will be Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Michael F. McDermott will officiate. Burial will be in Cedarview Cemetery at Doniphan, NE. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Bill was born February 7, 1974, at Grand Island, Nebraska. He was the son of George W. & Elaine (Litz) Colitzas. Survivors of his immediate family include his wife Tina Colitzas of Doniphan, NE Two sons, Christopher & Stephen and a daughter, Monica, all at home. Mother, Elaine Colitzas of Doniphan, NE Sister & brother-in-law, Tammie & Tim Hofbauer and their son Nicholas, of Columbus, NE Bill grew up in Doniphan, Nebraska and attended Doniphan High School. While in school he was active in football and power lifting and participated in ADFPA on the National level and to this day still holds many State and National power lifting records. After high school he followed in his fathers footsteps by perfecting his culinary skills as a chef for Tommys Restaurant, where he was known as Bill C. He married Tina Estrada on June 4, 2003, at Grand Island, Nebraska. They made their home in Doniphan, Nebraska and Bill continued working for Tommys Restaurant. He was a loving husband & father, enjoying the time spent with his wife and children. He was a dedicated son and brother, loved his pets, especially his ferrets, was an avid WWE wrestling fan and continued his love for power lifting. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, George Colitzas, grandparents, Charles & Mazie Colitzas and Joe & Elsie Litz. Memorials are suggested to the familys choice.
