Walter Cornwell, 58, of Grand Island, NE, died Friday, January 4, 2019. Mr. Cornwell's wishes were to be cremated. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Walter was born November 3, 1960, at Lepanto, AR. He was the son of Kenneth and Frances (Clark) Cornwell. Walter is survived by his daughter Katrina Cornwell of Pontotoc, MS Brother, Christopher Cornwell of Booneville, AR He grew up and received his education in Lepanto. Following his schooling he was a heavy equipment operator for the highway department. Walter was in the Grand Island community for the past three years.
