Travis D. Wenzl, 37, of Omaha, NE, died unexpectedly Monday, October 18, 2021, at his home. Travis' wish was to be cremated. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Martin L. Egging will be the celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the church with a vigil service at 6 p.m. Private family inurnment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Steinauer, NE at a later date. The son of Daniel and Joy (Brundage) Wenzl. He grew up in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Sr. High School in 2002. Travis interest in stereo, video, and tech equipment began at a young age. His salesman position at Video Kingdom was a perfect fit because he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and conversation with customers and appreciated helping people with decision making. At the time of his death, he worked for Stereo West in Omaha. Travis had a love for Honda cars and enjoyed listening to music, especially Nirvana.
