Teresa A. Terri Ruhe, 64, of Grand Island, NE, died Saturday, September 19, 2015, at her home. A memorial service will be Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sheri Lodel will officiate. There is not visitation as Terris wishes were to be cremated. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Terri was born April 17, 1951 at Loup City, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Eli T. and LeOra A. (Dishman) Criffield. Survivors of her immediate family include her son and daughter-in-law, Vince and Heather Ruhe of Grand Island, NE Daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Joe Pitches of Grand Island, NE Mother, LeOra Dishman of Broken Bow, NE Brothers, Lloyd Criffield of Jamestown, KS Lonnie Criffield of Wood River, NE Sisters and brothers-in-law, Theola and Bobby Munoz of Carpentaria, CA Linda Criffield of Scottsbluff, NE Deb and Russ Bonsall of Grand Island, NE Others left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Jeremy Garrison, Skylar Ruhe, Casey Roberts, Damon Roberts, and Ryan Pitches. Great grandchildren Isabella, Juliette and numerous nieces and nephews. Terri grew up in Loup City attending Austin Country School and graduating from Loup City High School in 1969. She continued her education at the Grand Island School of Business, completing the Secretary Program. She married Ronald R. Ruhe in 1970 at Grand Island, NE. They lived in Grand Island where she was employed with Linghmans Trophy and later worked at GIA and Leon Plastics in production. She worked at Barr Middle School as a cafeteria worker. With the birth of her grandchildren Terri loved the time spent babysitting them. Terri enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed the out of doors.
