Roger I. Searls, 48, of Grand Island, Nebraska, died Friday, December 14, 2012, at his home. To honor Mr. Searlss wishes cremation has occurred. Memorial services will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, with a family prayer service at 1:45 p.m. The Rev. Adam Snoberger will officiate. The family will share memoires of Roger at Curran Funeral Chapel from 4 7 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
Roger was born October 24, 1964, at San Jose, CA. He was the son of Sam & Eva A. (Lopez) Searls.

One daughter, Stephanie Biggerstaff of Omaha, NE and her twin children Michael Silva and Elizabeth Silva

Roger grew up in San Jose, Ca until moving to Eustis, NE with his family in 1971. He graduated from Eustis High School in 1984. He moved to Grand Island and was employed as a Supervisor at JBS. He also worked part-time at USA Steak. He married Vicki Beacom on October 18, 2002, at Grand Island, NE. They lived in Grand Island. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in April of 2005.
Roger enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool and was on several pool leagues. He enjoyed watching movies.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a past member of A.B.A.T.E.
Memorials are suggested to the familys choice.
He is welcomed into heaven by his grandfather, Chick Searls
