Porfirio Barrios-Mejia's Obituary
Porfirio Barrios-Mejia, 52, of Grand Island, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at his home. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. Fr. Richard L. Piontkowski Jr. will officiate. There is no visitation as Mr. Barrios-Mejia wishes were to be cremated. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Barrios-Mejia was born September 6, 1960 at Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. He was the son of Angel and Catalina (Mejia-Ixtabalan) Barrios-Lopez.
