Obituary

Peggy A. Trejo, 66, of Grand Island, NE, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at CHI St. Francis, in Grand Island, NE. Peggys wishes were to be cremated. A memorial mass will be Monday, September 22, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Todd K. Philipsen will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Military honors rendered by the United Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Navy Honor Team. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Peggy was born March 22, 1948, in Grand Island, NE. She was the daughter of Arthur F. and Mary Kathleen (Reed) ONeill. Survivors of her immediate family include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Tim and Katherine Dreher of Grand Island, NE Michael Trejo and Amanda Zabka of Grand Island, NE One daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Greg Moore of Benedict, NE One Sister Diana ONeill of Grand Island, NE Brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Jan ONeill of Hastings, NE William ONeill of ONeill, NE Leslie Morris of Grand Island, NE Others left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Alexander, Adam, Emaleigh, Isabella and Nickolas Dreher, Kylie Moore, Tyson, Adelyn, Kadan Trejo. Peggy grew up in Grand Island attending St. Marys grade school, Central Catholic High School and graduating from Grand Island Sr. High School in 1967. She married James B. Dreher on October 1968. They lived in Grand Island and Aurora. She married Jorge Trejo on December 23, 1981. They lived in Los Vegas and Miami, FL, before returning to Grand Island. Peggy was a production worker in fabrication at Swift and later worked at Wal-Mart as a night merchandise stocker. Mr. Trejo died October 20, 2008. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed the Grand Generation Center and attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the familys choice.
