Patricia A. Pat Preissler, 64, of Grand Island, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center with her family and friends at her side. Services will be Friday, July 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph K. Joseph will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, Nebraska, with a 1:30 p.m. committal service. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 4 7 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Pat was born July 29, 1947, at Aurora, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Joseph R. & Martha E. (Trausch) Preissler. Survivors of the immediate family include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald & Marlene Preissler of Fremont, NE Donald & Myra Preissler of Omaha, NE Gerald & Barbara Preissler of Giltner, NE Others left to cherish her memory include nieces and nephews, Monica, Tim, Julie, Cheryl, Bob, David, Dan and Stephanie. Pat grew up in Giltner, graduating from Giltner High School in 1965. She attended Kearney State College. After her schooling she was office manager at Rainbow Bread Company and worked at Speltz-Schultz Lumber Company. She was employed at First Americans Insurance Service before working for CNH. Pat retired in 2006 due to health issues. She enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends, her flower garden and the company of her cat Alle. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, Joe & Martha.
