Patricia Pat A. Eppert, 84, of Grand Island, Nebraska, died Monday, May 07, 2012, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora, NE. Services will be Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jocelyn Tupper will officiate. Burial will be in the Utica City Cemetery with a 2:00 p.m. committal service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Pat was born February 18, 1928, at Grand Island, NE. She is the daughter of Ervin & Alice (Walbrecht) Terry. Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter, Marsha A. Eppert of Marshall Town, Iowa One daughter-in-law, Kari Eppert of Central City, NE Grandchildren and spouses, Trevor Eppert, Kirby Eppert, Tysen & Maria Landmesser, Aaron & Erin Landmesser. Great grandchildren, Grace & Toby Landmesser, Claire & Addison Landmesser. Niece & husband, Kelly & Craig Tystad of Castle Rock, CO. Pat grew up in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Sr. High in 1945. She continued her education at Colorado Womens College completing her Teaching Degree in 1947. She lived in Gresham, NE, teaching grade school and later taught at Utica, NE. She married Bill Eppert on June 12, 1949, at Grand Island, NE. They lived in Gresham where Pat continued teaching 7th & 8th grades for several years. The couple moved to Central City and later rural Grand Island where Pat raised her children. Bill died in June of 1998 and Pats son Troy Eppert died on November 22, 2009. Pat was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was active in many of the womens organizations. She enjoyed volunteering and helping at all the church functions. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards, especially bridge. She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Bill, a son, Troy, and a brother & sister-in-law, Don & Nadine Terry. Memorials are suggested to the Troy Eppert Memorial Scholarship Fund.
