Maribeth Colitzas, 48, of Grand Island, NE, died Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha, NE. Cremation was chosen and a service is being planned for a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Maribeth was born April 30, 1977, in Missoula, MT the daughter of William T. and Maria C. (Otero) Meuret. She grew up in Montana graduating from high school in Whitefish, MT in 1995. Maribeth was the most wonderful, gentle, person you would ever meet. She spent most of her working life caring, mentoring, and counseling, disabled individuals through Helena Industries and Westmont both in Helena, MT, before transitioning to Grand Island, NE in July of 2024.
