Marian L. Redler, 89, of Grand Island, NE, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Primrose Retirement Communities. Private graveside services will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Anthony Madhichetti will officiate. There is no visitation. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Marian was born August 5, 1922, at Ainsworth, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Richard & Wilda (Nelson) Mohanna. Survivors of the immediate family include one daughter, Beverly Redler of Scottsdale, AZ One son, Terry Redler of Roseville, CA Marian grew up in Ainsworth, graduating from Ainsworth High School. She moved to Grand Island and began working for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. She married Francis Frank A. Redler on May 7, 1949, at Grand Island, NE. They lived in Grand Island and Marian worked at Sears managing the maintenance agreement department. Mr. Redler died October 1, 2002. Marian enjoyed quilting, traveling to California & Arizona to visit her children, playing bridge and she was a fabulous cook. She was a member of St. Marys Cathedral and St. Marys Quilting Ladies. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Frank Redler, and a brother, Richard Mohanna Jr. Memorials are suggested to St. Marys Cathedral Quilting Ladies, 112 S.
