Maria D. Flores, 74, of Grand Island, NE died Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.  Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Jorge Canela will be the celebrant.  Maria will be cremated following the funeral mass.  Private family inurnment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel with a vigil service at 7 p.m.  Memorials are suggested to the family for late designation.  Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.  More details will appear later.
