Obituary
Marcia R. Power, 62, of Grand Island, NE, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at CHI Health St. Francis Skilled Care Unit, with family at her side. Marcia's life will be celebrated Friday, September 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Scott Harter will officiate. Inurnment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice for later designation. Curran Funeral Chapel is caring for the family.
Marcia was born October 7, 1955, at Grand Island, NE. She was the daughter of Owen A. and Dolores T. (Pfiefer) Power
Marcia grew up in Grand Island attending St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic in 1974. She lived in Grand Island and worked at A&W Drive Inn, Atches Restaurant, and was a secretary at Overhead Door. In 1991 she was admitted to St. Francis Skilled Care Unit due to health issues.
Marcia enjoyed her outings and activities with her Skilled Care Unit family.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Marcia is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth (Ken) Power Kruse of Phoenix, AZ
Brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff (Diane) Power of Omaha, NE
Mark (Myla) Power of Grand Island, NE
Many nieces and nephews and her Skilled Care Unit family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Greg, and a sister, Anita.
