Madalaine S. Drudik, 88, of Fremont, Nebraska, formerly of Grand Island, Nebraska, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Nye Point Health & Rehab, in Fremont, NE. Services will be Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, in Grand Island, NE. The Rev. Todd K. Philipsen will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2011, from 4 7 p.m. with the family present, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
Madalaine was born May 14, 1923, in rural Elyria, NE. She was the son of Edward & Martha (Dubas) Jablonski.
Survivors of the immediate family include two daughters & two sons-in-law,

Don Rayno of Grand Island, NE
Others left to cherish her memory include seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Madalaine grew up in Elyria, NE attending District 8 School in Valley, County. After her schooling she was housekeeper for Fr. Gorak. She married Henry Drudik on August 29, 1950 at Elyria, NE. They lived in several communities before settling in Grand Island in the fall of 1953. Madalaine was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, baking and playing cards and Bingo. She was an animal lover, enjoying the company of her dogs and bird watching. Henry Drudik died in February of 1999. She moved to Fremont in 2002. While at Nye Pointe she was involved in every activity offered.
She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island, and St. Pats Catholic Church in Fremont.
She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband, Henry Drudik, daughter, Carolyn Rayno, infant son, Florian, brothers, Floyd & Alek Jablonski and a sister, Barbara Kennedy.
Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or a scholarship fund being established at Arch Bishop Bergan in Fremont, in Madalaines memory.
