Lucile S. Koch, 89, of Grand Island, NE, died Friday, July 27, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center with her family at her side. Services will be Monday, July 30, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph K. Joseph will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2012, from 4:00 7:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Lucile was born May 11, 1923, at Holstein, Nebraska. She is the daughter of Theodore & Anna (Goedert) Loskill. Survivors of the immediate family include four daughters & three sons-In-Law: Lois & Don Urbanski of Grand Island, NE Pam Woodward of Grand Island, NE Barb & Harold Green III of Grand Island, NE Terri & Rob Shook of Sidney, OH One sister, Darlene Tocchio of Drayton, ND Others left to cherish her memory include seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Lucile grew up and received her education in Holstein, Nebraska, graduating from Holstein High School in 1940. She married Wayne Koch on October 22, 1946, at Roseland, Nebraska. They lived in Grand Island and Lucile was employed with Skagway as a receiving clerk. She retired in 1989 after 40 years of service to care for her mother Anna. Mr. Koch died September 7, 1981. Lucile enjoys spending time with her family, grandchildren & great grandchildren, dancing, playing cards and the company of her pet Bichon, Dollie. She is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Central Catholic Foundation or Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Wayne, brother, Harold, sister-in-law, Evelyn Koch and brother-in-law, Joe Tocchio.
