Obituary

Ezekiel D. Gross, 19, of Grand Island, NE, died as a result of a motorcycle cycle accident, on June 14, 2026. Services will be Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Third City Christian Church in Grand Island, NE. Nick Schonlau will officiate. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorials are suggested to the family to support Come2Life Ministries. Ezekiel was born December 19, 2006, at Spring Hill, FL, he is the son of John Robert Gross and Rebecca Marie Rodriguez. He grew up in Brooksville, FL living with his uncle Benji. He was active in YMCA activities, played basketball, was a wrestler, and was a member of the Safety Patrol while in school. Ezekiel was always “all about rules”. He moved to Grand Island, NE in 2025 where he completed his high school education, graduating from Grand Island Sr. High School. Ezekiel was employed at JBS as a supply clerk and later in maintenance on the harvest side.

Ezekiel enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding his motorcycles and playing video games.

He will be missed by his mother and step-father, Rebecca and Anthony Rodgers of Grand Island, NE
