Elsie A. Fisher, 68, of Grand Island, Nebraska, died Friday, November 8, 2013, at her home. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grand Island City Cemetery. The Rev. Sheri Lodel will officiate. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Elsie was born July 29, 1945, at Elgin, Nebraska. She is the daughter of Chester W. and Elsie A. (Morris) Collins. Survivors of her immediate family include one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie Fisher-Dockhorn and Kurt Dockhorn of Grand Island, NE A half sister, Nita Heinrichs of Hastings, NE Elsie grew up in Elgin Nebraska graduating in 1974. She married Rodney Fisher. They lived in Grand Island where Elsie was a homemaker. She enjoyed the out of doors, walking and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents.
