Gilroy, 85, of Grand Island, NE died Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.  Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  The Rev. Robin Bashir will celebrate the funeral mass.  A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., followed by family greeting friends until service time. Private family inrurnment will be at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Grand Island Central Catholic School.
