Dan Charles "Buggs" Obermiller, 64, of Chico, TX, formerly of Grand Island, NE, passed away May 27th, 2016 at his home. Dans wishes were to be cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
Dan was born June 5, 1951, in Grand Island. He was the son of Delvin & Mary (Schweiger) Obermiller.
Dan graduated with the Grand Island Senior High class of 1969. He worked for Knox Construction and was a founder and owner of Obermiller Seamless Gutter of Grand Island. He also worked for Pike Electrical in Tennessee as a lineman foreman before moving to Chico, Texas.
Dan will be remembered for his happy smiles and his generosity to his many beloved friends.
Survivors of the immediate family include his son, Ryan and his partner Michael Mckenzie of Washington DC

Two brothers, Randal (Linda) of Kansas City, MO
Stanley (Linda) of Johnson Lake, NE.
He was preceded in death by his father Delvin Obermiller and his baby brother, Wayne and his former wife, Deborah Obermiller.
Dan was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the United Brothers Club.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the familys choice for later designation.
