Clifford L. Egnoske, 92, of Grand Island, NE died Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System in Grand Island, NE. surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Grand Island, NE. Rev. Thomas Vijumon Choorackal will be the celebrant with Rev. Mark A. Maresh concelebrating. Inurnment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel with a vigil service conducted at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Cliff was born May 26, 1934, in Fullerton, NE. The son of Lee and Clara (Bosak) Egnoske. He grew up in Fullerton graduating from Fullerton High School in 1954. He entered the U.S. Army serving from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1956. Cliff married Paula A. White in Aberdeen, SD on June 28, 1958. Cliff graduated from Barber College in Omaha, NE in 1959. He was a barber in Alliance, NE at OK Barber. Cliff worked 27 years at Burlington Northern Rail Road before moving to Grand Island, NE with his family. He barbered at Otto’s until retiring in 1999.
Cliff enjoyed his flower garden and polka music.
Cliff was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral and past member of Holy Rosay in Alliance where he was an usher. He has volunteered at the Nebraska State Fair for the past 10 years.

Grandchildren, Drew, Whitney, CJ, Jake, Dylan, Makeal, Haley, Rachel, Jade, and Taylor, and 11 great grandchildren.
Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Virgil Egnoske, sisters, Emily Gist, and Gen Kozoil.
