Bryan G. Schuster, 62, of Grand Island, Nebraska, died Friday, February 27, 2026, at his home due to declining health.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Donald A. Buhrman will officiate.  Inurnment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Bryan was born September 1, 1963, in Grand Island to Eugene F. and Lois A. (Hupka) Schuster. He grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1981. After graduation Bryan moved to Wisconsin, and later to Colorado to study sports medicine and eventually to Kearney before returning to Grand Island in 2001.

Bryan was an avid Husker sports fan and loved cheering on all things Huskers. He enjoyed thrifting and spent countless hours tinkering with anything he thought needed fixing. His curiosity and resourcefulness, were constants throughout his life.

Bryan also faced challenges with mental health, and he met those struggles with quiet resilience. His journey was not always easy, but he continued to show care for the people he loved and remained deeply connected to his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Lauren (David) Camacho of Aurora and their daughter, Kinleigh; and Shayla (Grant) Fox of Aurora and their daughters Bryar and Leni. He is also survived by his brothers, Bruce Schuster of Deshler, NE, and Gary (Diana) Schuster of North Platte, NE; his sister, Fae (Todd) Morgan of Grand Island, NE; and several nieces and nephews.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents.
