Obituary

Bonnie L. Clark, 77, of Chapman, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society Grand Island Village. Bonnies wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of her life service will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Curran Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sheri Lodel will officiate. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Bonnie was born February 23, 1937, in Chapman, NE. She was the daughter of Pearl T. Barth. Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Robert Clark of Chapman, NE Sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Clark of Chapman, NE Kevin and Lisa Harris of Grand Island, NE Daughter, Debra Emery of Aurora, NE Sister and brother-in-law, Alberta and Gary Wiese of Wood River, NE Brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Joan Husman of Gibbon, NE Joe and Kay Husman of Oklahoma Others left to cherish her memory include her four grandsons and five great granddaughters. Bonnie grew up in Chapman graduating from Chapman High School in 1954. She was employed at Northwestern Bell as a telephone operator, later working as a receptionists at the V.A. Hospital. She married Robert Clark on February 18, 1967, at Shelton, NE. They lived and farmed in Chapman. Bonnie began working at the Conoco Motel as a bookkeeper. She and Robert purchased the business in 1992 operating it until retiring in 2001. Bonnie loved to travel, she and Robert were snow birds spending winters in the south and traveled internationally as well. She is preceded in death by her mother, twin sons, Raymond and Ronald Harris, and a grandson Seth Emery and a sister. Memorials are to the familys choice.
