Bonifacio Palma Ambriz, 42, of Grand Island, NE, died Monday, June 14, 2021, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. The celebrant is Rev. Joseph Thambi. Interment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2021, from 5 – 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
Bonifacio was born December 16, 1978, at Villachuato Michocan, Mexico. He was the son of Bonifacio and Juana (Ambriz) Palma. He grew up in Mexico before coming to the United States in 1996 at the age of 18. He lived in Washington before moving to Grand Island in 1997. He was employed at Monfort's until health issues disabled him.
Bonifacio if survived by his two sons, Osvaldo Palma and Ivan Palma.
