Anna Mae Bockhahn, 79, of Prairie Village, KS, died, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the KU Medical Center. Graveside services will be Monday, June 11, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Richard L. Piontkowski Jr. will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at Curran Funeral Chapel.
Anna was born on September 21, 1932 in Grand Island, NE to Leonard and Marie Yount.
Survivors of her immediate family include two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald & Andi Bockhahn Jr. of Bozeman, MT

4 daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah & Carl Helleberg of Fond Du Lac, WI

Brother & sister-in-law, James V. & Nancy Yount of Omaha, NE

Others left to cherish her memory include grandchildren, Carson and Chase Bockhahn; Adam, Parker and Laura Helleberg; Marney and Mariel Ritacco; Katelin, Winn, and Kirsten Clark; Blaine, Logan, and Kyndal Bockhahn; Jadyn and Jordyn Rogge.
Anna Mae graduated from St. Marys Catholic school in Grand Island, and worked for the Grand Island Daily Independent and Five Points Bank. She was happily married to Donald Lee Bockhahn for 36 years. Her greatest joys in life were raising her 6 children, and 14 grandchildren, and attending all of their various activities. She was always the #1 fan, and will forever be remembered for her heart of gold and passion for others. Donald died January 8, 1987.
She will be greatly missed by all of the friends and families, whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime. We miss you, we love you, you will always be in our hearts.
She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband, Donald, grandson, David Helleberg, brother & sisters-in-law, George & Priscilla Yount, Mary Yount, sister and brother-in-law, Alice & Charles Neville
