Angela Kay Statler, 54, of Alda, NE, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center, with family at her side.  Angie's life will be celebrated Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Third City Christian Church.  Nick Schonlau will officiate.  Private family inurnment will be in the Phillips Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4 – 6 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel.  Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.  You are encouraged to sign Angela's guestbook at www.curranfuneralchapel.com under her obituary.  Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Angie was born November 2, 1969 in St. Paul, NE.  She is the daughter of Gary D. and Jeanette L. (Soper) Wampole.  Angie grew up in Grand Island, NE attending Shoemaker School and later Northwest High School graduating in 1988.  She was employed at Monfort for 3 years in the chuck table area.  Angie worked at Leon Plastics and later Home Depot before joining Case New Holland working in Logistics.

Angie enjoyed hanging with her children, family and friends.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, motorcycle riding, and time at the lake jet skiing.  Her yellow lab, Princess was always at her side.

Sister, Sherry Statler of Grand Island, NE, her children:  Teagan, Peyton, Cameron (Brittney Lane) McKevitt and their children, Grayson, Harrison, Hudson, and several aunts and uncles.

Angie was preceded in death by her dad, Gary Statler, half-sisters, Elizabeth Statler, Carolyn Statler, and step-dad, Terry Wampole.
