Marian Joan Eymann

Marian J. Eymann, 84, of O’Neill, NE, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center. Mrs. Eymann requested to be cremated. Memorial services will be at a later date. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Marian was born January 24, 1928, at Oakdale, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Harrison & Frances W. (Hawk) Springer.

Survivors of her immediate family include one son, Jeffrey L. Eymann of Grand Island, NE

One granddaughter & her husband, Natalie & Brent Friesen of Lincoln, NE

Great grandchildren, Joshua R. Friesen, Jacob L. Friesen, Kaitlyn R. Friesen

Marian grew up in Oakdale, NE, graduating from Oakdale High School in 1946. She married Alvin L. Eymann on February 20, 1948 at Ventura, CA. They lived in California where Marian was a check writer for Caterpillar. In 1950 they returned to Oakdale, NE. In 1953 they moved to Lincoln, NE and O’Neill, NE in 1955. Marian worked for the United Methodist Church for 10 years. Mr. Eymann died in 1975. She began working in October of 1989 as an aid at St. Anthony’s Hospital retiring in September of 2003.

She was a born again Christian and was very artistic. She loved drawing, painting, wood carving, playing the piano, camping & traveling.

She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Alvin, a son, Randall G. Eymann, grandson, Matthew Richter, brothers, Morton & Raymond Springer and sisters Margaret Springer and Dona Wakefield.

Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, NE
